Why I spoke out against lockdowns

Martin Kulldorff, a professor of medicine at Harvard University.

The nine new billionaires are worth a combined $19.3 billion, enough to fully vaccinate some 780 million people in low-income countries, campaigners said.

An Inconvenient Truth: EVs May Offer A "Negligible" CO2 Difference From ICE Vehicles

When considering the amount of carbon and CO2 created from assembling lithium ion batteries, one firm thinks the difference could be «negligible». The firm, established in 2015, posted a blog entry entitled «Exploring Lithium-ion Electric Vehicles’ Carbon Footprint» this week, where they call into question a former ICE vs. Their analysis «details the tremendous amount of energy needed to manufacture a lithium-ion battery.» Because a typical EV is on average 50% heavier than a similar internal combustion engine, the analysis notes that the «embedded carbon» in an EV is therefore 20–50% more than an internal combustion engine.

Source: SCB.SE

In the past year many are counting deaths, but the numbers have no meaning without the context of a relevant time period, population and history. The most counted country is probably Sweden, a stubborn dissenter that refused lockdowns, mask mandates and contact tracing. By the time of this writing, 14,349 Swedes have reportedly died from the coronavirus.

Conrad Black: We bought into the vision of a bilingual Canada, but Quebec's cultural elite betrayed us

Those of us who believed in a bicultural Canada and took the trouble to achieve that status personally do not regret it, but nor do we forgive the premeditated dishonesty of Quebec’s cultural leadership.
