Dow Jones Now At Record High

"We've scaled this peak. We're going to enjoy this view for a while and hit the pause button." - Joe Quinlan, chief market strategist at U.S. Trust.

Just what peak is Joe talking about exactly? It's the Dow Jones from the 20,000 point view. This is noteworthy because it's the highest value the Dow has ever reached. It's taken nearly three months of jostling, but the index finally pushed through the record threshold.

Will it stay? That remains to be seen. Of course, there are varied opinions on the strength of the U.S. economy, but for now the Bulls are revelling in all their glory.
