Bell: Maxime Bernier comes out swinging

It has been said that Maxime Bernier sways. What is true is that Bernier is not a guy who came out of nowhere. In fact, he is a deputy and former cabinet minister and was about to be the conservative leader instead of Andrew Scheer. Therefore, it is understood that there are those who might like it.

In fact, it wonders if, is he putting into words what more than a few people are thinking? Thus, speaking of words, Bernier has some of them for the conservative leader. And he thinks that Scheer does not know what he believes, will say what he wants to hear and is ready to please anyone to be in government.

Thus, Bernier has expressed exactly, “It’s not me who is not conservative anymore. It’s Andrew Scheer who is not conservative. The Conservative Party of Canada is morally and intellectually corrupt. Now they are like the Liberals on a lot of subjects”.

No problem to say what you think

Certainly, Bernier has no problem expressing what he thinks with total freedom and has no trouble killing what he thinks are sacred cows. Just ask.

Likewise, he sees his party as “the end of political correctness” and an uprising of those who have had it with the old policy.

Similarly, the aforementioned Popular Party leader, Maxime Bernier, talks about the equalization in Calgary. And he wants to reduce annual immigration and have a higher percentage of newcomers with skills that Canada needs since he wants those newcomers to share Canadian values.

Which ones could he refer to? He affirms that they are equality between men and women, equality before the law, tolerance, and separation of state and religion.

Now, when referring to climate change, the leader of the popular party says there is no emergency. There is no need to panic. Since humans can be a factor in climate change, but not the main one.

In addition to this, one could say that Bernier has ideas. And there are no taxpayer dollars for the CBC because it wants the press to be independent of the government and not dependent on the government, and a government-funded CBC is an unfair competition.
