GOLDSTEIN: UN climate report reveals goals of Trudeau's 'Great Reset'

It’s not a plot for global dictatorship. It’s a globalist plan to convince people living in democracies in the developed world to accept a lower standard of living to, we’re told, save the planet from catastrophic global warming. Under that plan, according to the UN, Trudeau’s announcement Friday that he’ll raise his carbon tax to $170 per tonne of emissions by 2030 is already obsolete. Trudeau says it will help Canada exceed his 2015 Paris climate agreement target of reducing Canada’s emissions to 30% below 2005 levels by 2030.

But in its annual emissions report released two days before Trudeau’s announcement, the UN said even if every country meets its Paris targets, global temperatures will increase by a catastrophic three degrees Celcius this century. While the UN condemns the wealthiest 1% of the world’s population for generating more than twice the emissions of the poorest 50%, its real agenda is to engineer dramatic lifestyle changes throughout society and in particular to what Trudeau calls the middle class. As the UN puts it, «lifestyle changes are a prerequisite for sustaining reductions in GHG emissions and for bridging the emissions gap».
