Rex Murphy: The Trudeau virtuecrats come tumbling down

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government are slowly falling. In such a way it is considered that currently due to the events that have been happening Trudeau has the appearance of the high school hero who has just fallen off his snowboard in front of all the cheerleaders that rotate. This being so, it has been notorious that Trudeau has had a difficult week but not only for him but also for the Gender Analysis Team in the boiler room of the Department of Public Works. Since they have had the task of analyzing the fierce testimony of Jody Wilson-Raybould and sequencing it with the equity feminism of the government.

That being the case, it is considered that Jody Wilson-Raybould in his person and conduct, is all about what the Liberal government was supposed to be. We must not ignore the fact that it is not good that the strongest and most independent woman in her cabinet does not feel that she can, with honor, sit in that same cabinet with him. And it is so, it is a fact that the strongest and most independent woman in her entire cabinet no longer feels that she can, with honor, sit in the same cabinet with him.

What is not convenient

There is no doubt that it is not good that a strong and independent woman, determined to secure the mast of the rule of law, be besieged for months by a train of flacks and assistants, chief secretaries and chiefs of staff, complemented by the Black Knight of the Secretary of the Privy Council: to reach an agreement, to be sensitive, to respect that rule of law because “… there are elections in Quebec … (and) I am the Papineau member”.

It is not good that the one that has established itself as strong and independent was subject to threats, veiled and not so veiled, effectively harassed and harassed because it refused to politically please the big ones in the PMO. The Feminist in Chief received a massive blow.

Now, his departure could be the prelude and necessary condition for the prime minister himself. The same would not matter in an ordinary government. However, this is a Trudeau government, where feminist values and the purest sensitivity to women are like brilliant diamonds in the firmament of righteousness and holiness.
