The Columbus Blue Jackets are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. Likewise, they are members of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).

This team was founded as an expansion team in 2000. It should be noted that in its early years, the Blue Jackets had problems, not being able to win 30 games in one season until the 2005–06 season. Even so, the team qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 2009 but was swept. However, Columbus finally achieved his first win in the playoffs in the 2014 playoffs and five years later he won his first playoff series in the 2019 playoffs against Tampa Bay Lightning, becoming the first team in the history of the NHL to win a trophy of presidents in the first round.

There is no doubt that both moody and wordless, Tampa Bay Lightning had little explanation of how they followed a glorious regular season by being sent off the playoffs with unprecedented speed.

Awesome sweep

Recall the score, Blue Jackets 7, Lightning 3. In this way, the Columbus Blue Jackets capped an impressive sweep of the winners of the Presidents’ Trophy with a 7–3 victory on Tuesday night. That being the case, Tampa Bay became the first team in the era of expansion, which began in 1967–68, to run out of wins in the first round of the playoffs after leading the league in points during the regular season. The feeling of impotence was in Lightning, in fact, Nikita Kucherov, who is the forward of Rayo and who also had 128 points in the regular season, but remained out of the score until Tuesday night, he said “Yes, it sucks” Also, he added, “Nothing was our way in the series” he also said “I do not know what to say”.

That being the case, Columbus won his first playoff series on his fifth attempt and advances to play the winner of the Boston-Toronto series, which the Maple Leafs lead 2–1.

On the other hand, the feeling of satisfaction and joy filled the Blue Jackets. In this way, the defender of the same team, David Savard said “It is a great feeling to finally have one” in the same way he emphasizes “The work is not done, we have to move forward”.
