Paul Dolan, who is a professor of behavioral science, has said that single and childless women are the ‘Healthiest and Happiest Population Subgroup’.

There is no doubt that the information provided by Professor Dolan causes a stir and, in fact, is really interesting and important. In this way, it has been said that this would be good news for women who may feel somewhat overwhelmed and pressured by the society that pushes them to run to the altar or to be mothers.

And, otherwise, they could be happier in the situation they are as they are, in addition, they can live much longer.

In this way, as reported by The Guardian, professor of behavioral science Paul Dolan said that while “married people are happier than other population subgroups” that only applies to “ when their spouse is in the room when they’re asked how happy they are”. Dolan added, “When the spouse is not present: f — ing miserable”

Dolan, who teaches at the London School of Economics, said that “The healthiest and happiest population subgroup are women who never married or had children”.

It is important to mention that Dolan has been based on data from the Survey on the use of time in the United States (ATUS) that surveyed different types of people: single, married, separated, divorced and widowed — to Compare levels of happiness.

Likewise, curiously the opposite was true for men since in fact, everything indicates that they seemed to obtain a greater benefit from marriage than women because, as Dolan explained, they “calmed down” after getting married.

Since “You take less risks, you earn more money at work and you live a little longer”, he said. “She, on the other hand, has to put up with that, and dies sooner than if she never married”.

It is truly time to bring up that middle-aged women who were married also saw an increase in possible mental and physical illnesses.

In conclusion, the behavioral science professor has stated, “If you’re a man, you should probably get married; if you’re a woman, don’t bother”.
